We specialize in spherical and aspherical elements custom made to order, from small lots to large, processing substrates that are difficult to handle because of the materials' properties. Our expertise in delivering precision lenses to satisfy customers' needs is well known among major Japanese companies. Over the years, Sankyo products have been used in diverse fields from videography, machinery and electronics to semiconductors and networking devices. Today you’ll also find our lenses in sophisticated metrology equipment for advanced research. Sankyo technology can also be found in the solar observation satellite, Hinode. In 2008, we were selected as one of the Top 300 Lively Manufacturing SMEs by the Small and Medium Enterprise Agency, a division of Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI).
